Teen

Our Teen Department is full of opportunities for getting involved. Help us plan programs and community events by joining the Teen Advisory Board, or come join in the fun by participating in any of the number of activities we offer.

Neither of these spark your interest? Search no more and join the Teen Tech group where we learn robotics from the Library’s Technology Librarian. You can find dates for programs and book reviews, in addition to an application for the Teen Advisory Board.

Summer Reading Program

Young adults ages 11 and 18 may join us for this year's Teen Summer Reading Program, an Ocean of Possibilities! By earning weekly badges in the Beanstack App, students will be eligible for a weekly prize drawing. Those who complete the summer reading program by earning all seven badges will be entered in our grand prize drawing for chance to win a pair of Apple Airpods! Five runners-up will be eligible to win free books.

Want to participate? Go to the Beanstack website or download the Beanstack app on your device and select Pelham Public Library. Then sign up to log your progress by number of minutes read. The overall goal is to read for a total of 1,000 minutes by the end of summer. (That's only 20 minutes a day, or 2 hours each week!)

Check out all of the fun programs and activities going on at the library this summer! To register for the T-Shirt Pillow craft or the Crabby Bots STEM program go here.
