REQUIREMENTS:
- Must be 21 years of age.
- U.S. Citizen.
- Possess a high school diploma/GED.
- Possession of a valid Alabama driver’s license or the ability to obtain one.
- No felony or serious misdemeanor convictions.
- Must be able to maintain the authority to carry a pistol or firearm.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Sound judgment and the ability to make quick decisions in high-pressure situations.
- Good character and integrity are expected.
RESPONSIBILITIES: (Overview only, not a complete list of duties)
- Enforce local, state, and federal laws to maintain public safety and order.
- Patrol designated areas to prevent and detect criminal activities.
- Respond to emergency calls, accidents, and incidents, ensuring the safety of all individuals involved.
- Conduct thorough investigations, gather evidence, and make arrests as necessary.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of incidents, arrests, and investigations.
- Provide support and assistance to the public, addressing concerns and providing guidance.
- Collaborate with fellow officers and law enforcement agencies to exchange information and coordinate efforts.
- Attend training programs and workshops to enhance professional skills and stay up to date with law enforcement practices.

- Pay Scale: $56,543.76-$76,964.16 (based on 2-year minimum experience and other related experience)
