Pelham Water Works is dedicated to providing our customers with safe, high quality water and reliable service. Improvements are continuously being made to all aspects of the water system to insure an adequate supply of water to one of the nation’s fastest growing communities. Both the Water Works and Sewer department meet or exceed all standards set by the Alabama Department of Environmental Management (ADEM) and the United States Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).
Customers must setup a user name and password to view and manage their account. Within their account, customers can manager their contact information, including phone numbers, mailing and email addresses.
This is an important message from Pelham Water Works concerning past due accounts. Past due accounts must be paid and received in our office before February 2, 2021, or your services will be shut off for non-payment on February 3, 2021.
Pelham Water Works continues to accept payments at our drive-thru window, over the phone and via your online account. Please contact our office at 205-620-6420 if you are experiencing financial hardship and would like to make a 60-90 day arrangement. Your immediate action is needed to avoid additional fees for the collections process.
The Water Department is not accepting requests to Discontinue Services on Friday. Requests may be scheduled Monday-Thursday with at least a 24-hour business day notice, with a 3:00 p.m. deadline for next business day services.
Water Works Transactions
As a precautionary measure due to the concerns surrounding COVID-19, the City of Pelham Water Works will handle all in-person transactions via the drive thru window effective Monday, March 16, 2020.
We encourage you to sign up for paperless billing. E-bills will be sent to the email address on file to notify you that your bill is available for viewing and payment. Online credit card and e-check payments will be charged a convenience fee of 3.25% of the total bill paid. Customers can use "Quick Pay" to make online payments without logging into their account. Never be late with a payment by enrolling in automatic bank draft. This option is free of charge. Click here to sign up for paperless billing.
